I can’t believe were actually doing this. I just had the idea a month ago, and I never thought it would actually happen. I guess it was just luck that I ran into someone who had access to all of the equipment we needed. It won’t be very fancy because we have a very low budget, but it will be enough to send to a network and maybe get some more funding for it. We’re focusing on voice casting right now. It probably won’t be the final cut if we really make it on television, but I need to have someone to really give the characters some personality. The producers need to be able to imagine what it could be, and having good actors helps tremendously. I just hope the whole thing doesn’t fall apart before were finished. After were finished, everyone can do whatever. I’ll find someone else if it gets picked up.

The other day I was getting ready for a gig that I was playing in my high school talent show, and of course the absolute worst thing happened to me when my bass string snapped and I didn’t have any extra ones in my case. I was the only bassist in my band, so no one had a string that I could borrow either, and I had to drive all the way back home and get a new one. When I got home I realized that it didn’t have any extra E strings, and I was really starting to panic because the show was starting in less than an hour. So I had to go up to my parent’s attic and find my old bass, and take the string off of that and use it on my good guitar.
